Objectifs

Developing the team work and presentation skills of participants. Equipping the students with the capability to analyse complex business environments, formulate strategies, through recent examples from real business environments.

Contenu

Understanding the basic concepts of strategic management
Acquiring the skills and tools to apply strategic management concepts in real business environments, in which there is a high degree of uncertainty and competitive pressure.

Evaluation

There will be two unannounced quizes. The students who are officially absent will be excused from the quizes, otherwise there will be no make up for the quiz. There is one final exam in this course.

Final Exam 50%
Presentations: 40%
quiz grades and attendance 10%

Approches pédagogiques

A combination of formal teaching and case studies.
The course gives particular emphasis on discussions during the class about the various aspects of the cases.
